Getting Ready for 2010

A new trailer hitch has been added to my Montero Sport. The Ford F250 we used in the past was completely totalled by David's daughter this summer and we must now adjust to the change.
The Montero is a four wheel drive that is very rugged and should pull the trailer just fine. All that remains is for me to wire the light harness for the trailer and we will be good to go.

The forecast for pheasants in the southeast Nebraska area is not good...but, we have fixed that by releasing 100 birds on the farm this summer. Hopefully, they will be near the area when the season starts. In addition, the farm in Kearney will have plenty of birds. It may be tough elsewhere, but I believe we will have a great year. With Bubba, Manny, Sasha, and Scooby gaining experience, it will be a blast! In preparation for that, I ordered my non-res/habitat stamp today. With a permit in my pocket, a new tag on the trailer, and a new hitch on the Montero, it seems that everything is lining up very well for the trip to big cog country...
